Does the Art World Need another Data Standard? Actually, yes!
Authentify Art's '8 A's of Art' is a framework for authenticating and valuing artwork, organized into eight categories. Four qualitative categories — Attribution, Acquisitions, Archives, Appearances — tell an artwork's story: who made it, who's owned it, what's been written, where it's shown. Four quantitative categories — Authenticity, Agreements, Assessment, Activity — supply the evidence: scientific analysis, legal/financial records, condition reports, and logistics.

What Art Infrastructure Actually Means
