Art Research
Our Artwork Research Service combines the seasoned experience of industry expert Theo Johns with the advanced research tools of Vasarik to provide a comprehensive report on your artwork - which you can then use to determine whether to pursue more extensive advisory services.
Individual Artworks
For deep understanding of individual artworks
The research report delves into the story behind your artwork — its stylistic characteristics, materials, historical context, and potential authorship. We examine visual and documentary evidence to assess what your artwork is or could be.

Each report includes:
-
Expert commentary and analysis
-
Key observations drawn from AI-assisted research
-
Contextual comparisons and relevant historical notes
-
Recommendations for next steps (such as authentication & expert attribution)

Unlike most appraisal and valuation services, your report will give you clarity, confidence and understanding of how your artwork will be received by the art market prior to taking further steps.
Collection Research (coming soon)
Quickly determine which items merit a deepr dive.
This service will act as a preliminary 'traige' of larger collections to determine which artworks are most likely to benefit from more comprehensive research.
